I've always been curious how long it would take for a good deed to go around the world. In order to find the answer to this question, I designed a good deed chip. Once this chips begin to circulate, I'm hoping that that each person who picks up a chip will do a good deed, pass the chip on, then blog about it. The receiver of the chip will then blog about that deed, USING THE COMMENTS SECTION, and then do a good deed for someone else. The information I receive on the blog will be used to make a pitch for a television piece about good deeds.
And the world will change, one chip at a time!
So log away...I look forward to reading what you're doing.

Well, I started this blog about a year and a half ago, and have yet to have the guts to get it going.
SO, yesterday, I was having an iced tea with my friend Lisa, and she encouraged me to get on with this!
We were at McMinnamins, and bought some people's drinks anonymously. We'll see what happnens.
Have a great day.
I think buying someone's drinks counts. In my mind a good deed is kind gesture that benefits someone else. Of course, you benefit too because it feels good to do it, but ultimately the beneficiary is the other person, and if those people walked out of McMinnamins with a few extra dollars in the pocket, and a few beers in their bellies, then that most certainly was a good deed!
Okay, so beer is a good deed. I like your definition, "a kind gesture."
That is nice.
